Wellington based artist Tim Christie has a particular fascination with the interplay between abstract geometric design and figurative/representational art. 

Often described as an “Op Artist” he intentionally explores the void between these two realms, so you often experience a seemingly beautiful abstract design from up close with 3D forms emerging out of the designs as you step away.

For the large works a medium to large sized room or the end a corridor is best to experience both dimensions.
