Rume offers an interior styling service for the final touches in a new build or renovation or a total refresh of your home, rental property or holiday accommodation.  

Shontelle can also come and help stage your home for sale, using what you have as well as a few extra lovely things (if required).

We work with you to transform your space into a true reflection of your personality and lifestyle focusing on the art of designing spaces that are functional, beautiful, and perfectly tailored to your taste.

Personalised Consultation

Your consultation will be with Shontelle the owner and operator of Rume.  

Shontelle will take the time to understand your vision, lifestyle, and preferences.   This includes assessing your space, discussing your ideas, and exploring different design styles to determine what will best suit you and your home.

Even if you don't know where to begin, just having a chat is a great start.  We work with your budget, all you may need is a few cushions, a change around and a couple of plants, or you might want a whole new aesthetic, we love to help on all levels.

With years of experience in furniture/homeware retail and also has a huge passion for interiors and an eye for good design.   Shontelle has lived in different cities and homes with all kinds of aesthetics, this has lead to learning many creative ways to make a home beautiful.

Furniture & Decor Sourcing

The website and showroom in Martinborough is just a small representation of what we can source.  We have the ability to source furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories from top quality suppliers that suit your style and your budget. 

Custom Made

We can organise items from headboards to sofas, armchairs, and ottomans to be created in the style and fabric of your choice, we can also have custom rugs made.

Installation & Styling

We can organise everything from delivery to installation.  We can style your space down to the smallest detail, ensuring every piece is placed with intention and care, creating a cohesive and polished look.

Editing your space can create visual stories that reflect who you are and what you love, this includes help with placement and arranging everything in the room, making use of the space in a more functional way.  The right styling can give a clearer aesthetic and transforms a space to really elevate your experience in your home, or your guests experience if we are styling your accommodation.

Pricing:

  • Casual chat in store or over the phone/email - always free!  
  • Up to 1 hour consultation in store or in your space - *$250.00
  • 10% off any purchases made from Rume.
  • Further work not included in the consultation will be charged at an hourly rate of $75.00 per hour (e.g coming back to your home to help with styling).

*The consultation fee also includes the time spent to put together personalised recommendations and ideas for you.
