The Omaha Cafe Table by Christchurch based Ico Traders is a multi-purpose table ideal for outdoors or indoors!

Each Ico Traders piece is finished with a PVDF base coat and coloured powder coat, which offers protection against the elements. However, steel can still rust if it’s scratched, damaged, or left in harsh environments for long periods.

While New Zealand is the best place in the world to live, the climate can be harsh.  Steel & sticky salt air are not great friends.  We do all we can to protect our designs from corrosion caused by our environment, but sometimes it’s necessary to step it up. Stainless Steel is one of the best defences against sea spray, ocean winds, humidity & high rainfall areas.

If you live near the ocean, in areas of high humidity, or where it rains a lot, we recommend investing in stainless steel.

201 stainless steel contains 16%-18% chromium, 3.5%-5.5% nickel and 5.5%-7.5% manganese (providing corrosion resistance).
