Reminiscent of little, individual three-legged characters or friendly creatures, the Duck series is a playful and exuberant addition to more minimalist series of trays, vases, bowls, pots, jars and plates in a modern interior.   Yet, true to the design manifest of 101 Copenhagen, the collection is held in natural colours to fit into the Scandinavian home.

Duck comes in various shapes, sizes and colours – like individual family members gathered around a table. As it is a hand glazed natural product, the colours may vary slightly.

Ceramic is one of the oldest and most enduring materials.

101CPH ceramic is elevated through hand painting, where layers of pigment are carefully applied by skilled artisans. This process creates subtle variations in tone, texture, and detail, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike. 

The outer surface is hand-painted and should be treated with the same reverence. Dust lightly with a soft, dry cloth, allowing the painted character to remain untouched. Water, harsh cleaners, or abrasives should never meet this surface, as they can disturb its delicate finish.

To preserve their vibrancy, keep each piece away from prolonged sunlight and sudden shifts in temperature. With such mindful care, every ceramic piece will hold its artistry, warmth, and timeless presence for years to come.
