Rume offers an interior styling service for the final touches in a new build or renovation a total refresh of your home, or just one room!  also refreshes of a rental property or holiday accommodation.  

Shontelle can also come and help stage your home for sale, using what you have as well as a few extra lovely things (if required).

I work with you to transform your space into a true reflection of your personality and lifestyle focusing on the art of designing spaces that are functional, beautiful, and perfectly tailored to your taste.

Personalised Consultation in person

Your consultation will be with me - Shontelle, the owner and operator of Rume.  

I will take the time to understand your vision, lifestyle, and inspiration.   This includes assessing your space, discussing your ideas, and exploring different design styles to determine what will best suit you and your home.

Even if you don't know where to begin, just having a chat is a great start.  I work with your budget and all you may need is a few cushions, a change around and a couple of plants, art placement or you might want a whole new aesthetic.

With years of experience in furniture/homeware retail and also a huge passion for interiors and an eye for good design I love to help on all levels.  Having lived in many different cities and homes with all kinds of aesthetics, this has lead to learning many creative ways to make a home beautiful.

I can organise everything from delivery to installation and can style your space down to the smallest detail, ensuring every piece is placed with intention and care, creating a cohesive and polished look. 

Pricing:

In Home Consult (Wellington/Wairarapa only) $300.00

• Up to 1 hour consultation in store or in your space.
• 10% off any purchases made from Rume.
  
• Further work not included in the consultation will be charged at an hourly rate of $75.00 per hour (e.g coming back to your home to help with styling).

*The consultation fee also includes the time spent to put together personalised recommendations and ideas for you.

Online Consult - Anywhere! $200.00

• You will receive a short questionnaire to fill out.
• Send photos/videos either via a shared album or whatsapp/email
• Shontelle will review and will give a timeline as to when you will receive your plan back.
• 10% off any purchases made from Rume.
  
• You will receive personalised practical recommendations and ideas for your space.

The website and showroom in Martinborough is just a small representation of the ranges we have available to us.  We have access to top suppliers and makers for furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories that suit your style and your budget.
